Whole order was just horrible, definitely not as good as this Chinese used to be, and I’m sorry but I won’t ordering again.

Spring rolls were cold, Schezuan chicken was not what it usually is with too many bamboo shoots and little chicken. Shredded beef was chewy and the fried rice was more like boiled rice. Disappointed.

Food was okay but had to wait nearly 2 hours for it. Also didn’t follow my request for certain ingredients to not be included. Won’t be ordering again.

The quality of the food was great but I had asked to have the beef in black bean sauce extra spicy but unfortunately it wasn't spicy at all. I think it may have been forgotten. Without the extra spice I wouldn't normally have beef in black bean sauce so it was a disappointment

Had to wait 2 hours again for a delivery and the salt levels on the wings and squid were off the charts, completely inedible. We won't be ordering from here again.

Chow mein was full of too much veg chunk (to substitute for small amount of beef) - didnt taste great either, definitely eaten better chow mei elsewhere King prawn fried rice far too wet. Too much sauce. Again, handful of small king prawns with loads of veg chunks (which I wasn't expecting in fried rice, onions, and maybe egg and peas), but certainly not chunks of peppers courgette and mushroom. Curry sauce was poor as well. Disappointing all round. I'm sure they have better options on their menu, but for me, chow mein and fried rice is not one of them

Food recipes have changed recently. We have ordered honey chilli chicken numerous times before and it was very tasty, however extremely spicy not & not as enjoyable. Sweet & sour sauce is also spicy, normally it is not. Not impressed with the changes to food

Best Chinese in Penicuik. Salt and pepper chips are a must. We have been going here since it opened and it’s never once disappointed. ♥️

I did not collect my food, as I have ordered via app from the wrong shop, I leave in Gorebridge, 5 min from the newton grange shop, and when I called Penicuik shop and asked to cancelled my order, the ladie said they did not receive it yet so she could not cancel, 5 min later I called again and she said my order was ready and could not be cancelled, how is that possible!!! I did not drive 30min to collect my food so I never had it.
